Silver Plating Services
Silver Plating is very ductile and malleable (slightly harder than gold). A monovalent coinage metal, silver (and silver plating) has a brilliant white metallic luster that can take a high degree of polish. Silver plating has the highest electrical conductivity of all metals, even higher than copper.
Among metals, pure silver has the highest thermal conductivity, whitest color, the highest optical reflectivity. Silver plating has the lowest contact resistance of any metal. Silver plating is stable in pure air and water, but tarnishes when it is exposed to air or water containing ozone or hydrogen sulfide. To prevent this, silver plating is processed through anti-tarnish after plating for protection.
By maintaining low PPM's and rapid turnaround, Eastern Plating is able to ship finished silver plating parts directly to the customers.
Silver Plating Capacities (per finish type)

Common Applications & Specifications of Silver Plating
For less demanding applications in electronics, silver plating is often used as a cheaper replacement for gold. Care should be used for parts exposed to high humidity environments. Basic Data for Silver:
